Elissa McBride has spent more than 30 years in the Canadian screen industry, building a career that has taken her from Montreal to Los Angeles to Toronto. Her experience spans both the creative and business sides of the industry, across drama and documentary production. She secretly prefers documentaries, so she was fortunate to work at the NFB and Hot Docs. What began as a three-month contract at Ontario Creates turned into a 12-year stint specializing in film, television, animation and VFX tax credits.

Since 2017, Elissa has been managing business affairs at the Rogers Group of Funds. In her spare time, she obsesses over the Toronto Raptors.
