Mélanie Lê Phan is an Executive in Charge of Current Production, Comedy at CBC, where she oversees a slate of titles which has included Son of a Critch, Small Achievable Goals, and North of North.

Since joining CBC in 2013, she has worked extensively across genres in scripted, factual, documentary, YA, and kids programming. In 2017, Mélanie helped develop a digital programming strategy for short-form content at CBC, which later became known as CBC Gem Digital Originals. She began her career producing short films and commercials and working at the CMPA–BC Producer’s Branch. Québeco-Vietnamese and raised in Ottawa, Mélanie studied Film Production at the University of British Columbia.
