Terry Kelly

Terry Kelly is a proud parent of two adult children, daughter Griffin and son Reid. He lives in the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood in Toronto with his partner, Lynn Patterson, and their 4-pound Yorkie, Buffy.

Terry has worked in TV and film for over 30 years and is grateful to have developed an extensive network of friends and colleagues during that time. He was a stagehand at the CBC, then a member of NABET 700. For the last ten years, he has been a member of IATSE 873. Some of the productions that he was Gaffer on include Traders, The Eleventh Hour, Take This Waltz, Away From Her, Reign and In the Dark.

Terry has proudly served on the Electric Department Committee at IATSE 873; he is on the Board of Trustees at Metropolitan United Church in Toronto. His first experience with The AFC was Mark Manchester’s brilliant fundraising events while they work together on Reign. Because of the many unique challenges due to the nature of his work, Terry is grateful that an organization exists to help those in the performing arts industries. He has had first-hand experience in this regard and is grateful to have received help from his work-family.
