Christine Rossi-Wright

Christine Rossi-Wright is the Senior Program Worker at The AFC. She is a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor. Her previous experience includes advocacy, counselling, and coordinating support plans for people with epilepsy and working with survivors of trauma as a residential counsellor.
In her role at The AFC, Christine coordinates our Emergency Financial Aid Program and provides direct social work support to clients in need. She is a Mental Health First Aid Course instructor, and she develops and leads workshops and presentations for the arts & entertainment community.
Christine’s education and experience are complemented by her previous work as an actor in professional musical theatre and her strong ties to the Toronto arts community. Christine draws on her vast and diverse experience to create helpful educational content that primarily focuses on mental health and wellness in an effort to reduce the stigma around mental health problems in our industry.
