Tax Workshop for Freelancers, Creatives and Entrepreneurs

The AFC Program Space | 1000 Yonge Street, Suite 301

Often people in the arts and entertainment industry have what is known as “complicated taxes’. Self-employment, multiple income streams, freelancing, and other not-so-straightforward tax scenarios are the realities of working in the creative sector.
With the tax season upon us, we are thrilled to host a tax workshop for freelancers and creatives with tax advisor Sunny Widerman on Monday, March 2 from 6-9 pm!
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the GST, deductible expenses, how to use RRSPs to protect your income, and why doing what you love is great business. Take the opportunity to ask all your lingering tax questions during the Q&A from an expert who has been working in taxes since 2002. No judgement, just great advice and information with a sense of humour on the side.
