Would you like to volunteer for The AFC? There are three main ways to help:

Volunteer at special events

In cities across Canada, theatre companies and grassroots arts organizations  hold benefits for The AFC that require volunteers to help in a variety of capacities.

Help us at the office

We often require assistance at the Toronto office with tasks such as researching theatre companies and preparing mailings.

Become an advocate for The AFC

Theatre
We are always looking for supporters to speak at rehearsals about ways of donating to The AFC that are tailored to theatre professionals and how The AFC can assist people who are facing serious personal hardship. Visits take 15 minutes and can help spread awareness about an organization that supports your community.

Film & Television
We also have advocacy opportunities available in film and television. If you would like to spread the word about The AFC on your set, just get in contact and we can provide you with materials and assistance.
