Budgeting for personal finances is one of the most essential skills for a sustainable career in the entertainment industry. When work fluctuates and income is inconsistent, it is important to have a realistic plan to ensure financial stability during and between contracts.

Facilitated by Nick Eddy, a Branch Manager at Creative Arts Financial, this workshop will help you learn what a budget is and why you should create one. You will also receive tips to help you reach your financial goals and ideas to help you adjust your spending.

Meet Nick Eddy

Nick Eddy has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years in Canada and abroad. With a background in financial planning, Nick is passionate about supporting members in achieving their long-term and short-term goals like retirement, buying a house, tax minimization, or helping them save to make planning for the future a little easier. He is keenly interested in financial literacy and budgeting education to help plan for the unexpected!
