In 2017, I broke my foot during a theatre rehearsal and was unable to complete my contract. The AFC provided me with the funds to pay my rent and eat. The AFC supports the front-line workers in the entertainment industry. Actors must give all their energy to their roles and are often left physically and emotionally depleted once their job is done. Actors have few safety nets and The AFC is there to catch them when they fall.
