Estate Planning

Financial Wellness Workshop by CPA Canada

March 24, 2026 | 1-2 pm ET | 10-11 am PT | Zoom

Overview

Learn how to create a thoughtful plan to distribute your assets during your lifetime or after death. Having a plan in place helps ensure your wishes are honoured and can significantly reduce the time, cost, and stress for those you care about.

Estate planning is about deciding what happens to your money and belongings after you pass away, and who can make decisions for you if you can’t. It usually involves documents such as a will, powers of attorney, and, sometimes, a trust to make your wishes clear and avoid confusion. Estate planning can also help you get your current finances in order.
