March 26, 1-2:30 pm ET | 10-11:30 am PT on Zoom

Navigating contracts in the entertainment industry can often be an overwhelming and arduous task. However, their necessity for protecting the rights and interests of the parties involved makes them essential and unavoidable.

Led by entertainment lawyer William Genereux, this session, presented in partnership with the Artists’ Legal Advice Services (ALAS), will provide an accessible overview addressing key considerations that creative professionals should keep in mind when approaching contracts in their careers. From understanding key contract terms and clauses to negotiation strategies and common pitfalls found in the entertainment industry, the topics to be addressed will be focused on helping you understand and protect your rights, maximize opportunities, and confidently handle contractual obligations in the industry.

Please note: Please note that our workshops are intended to provide general information and do not offer personalized advice.
