Chaos to Clarity: Navigating Social Media with Artistic Integrity

Wednesday, October 16, 2024, 3:30 – 5 pm ET on Zoom

Real talk: the social media landscape is a lawless digital Wild West. From reckoning hashtags, SEO, and fickle algorithms to dodging the dreaded “cringe” label, it takes serious guts to put yourself and your art out there. And don’t even get us started on those inflammatory keyboard warriors lurking in the comments section.

This workshop endeavours to be your guiding star for navigating the chaotic world of online presence. Tailored for freelance artists, self-producing creatives, and leaders of small companies/collectives in the performing arts sector, we’re here to help you find your digital voice without selling your artistic soul.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss:

  • Language and landscape of social media
  • Tips, tools, and tangible tricks on crafting content that’s rooted in the heart of your work
  • Mindsets and attitudes for a healthy and inspiring relationship with social media
  • Strategies and tactics for promoting your work

Register for this workshop if you want to demystify the digital realm, discover the skills to promote your brand or work effectively, build an online presence with integrity, and prioritize your mental and emotional health in this ever-changing landscape.

Remember: your art deserves to be seen, and your well-being deserves to be protected.

Accessibility: closed captions and ASL interpretation. If you require additional accommodations to make this event accessible for you, please get in touch, and we will do our best to meet your needs.
