Career Sustainability Workshop with Ground Floor
May 12, 2026 | 1-2:30 pm ET | 10-11:30 am PT | Zoom
Overview
Have you ever found yourself in a tense situation with a colleague or a collaborator, or witnessed tension between others you are working with? If you have, and wished you had tools to better understand the nature of that conflict, then this workshop is for you.
In this introductory 90-minute session, instructors from Ground Floor will break down the predictable patterns that cause conflicts to escalate, and help you understand why tension begins to form, and how you can start to bring your projects and collaborations back to harmony.
Please note: This workshop focuses more on the theory of conflict than on the steps of conflict resolution.

About Ground Floor
Ground Floor was co-founded in 2021 by five artists seeking to make the industry a healthier, more sustainable place to work. Through research and collaboration with experts in care, social justice, and empathetic practice, they developed ARCS, a guided process that supports new creative partnerships rooted in curiosity, empathy, and mutual support.
Since launching ARCS in 2022, Ground Floor has expanded its impact through the Two-Way Mentorship program, which connects emerging and established artists, and TINK, a one-day theatre creation accelerator. Today, Ground Floor continues its mission of connecting people and supporting healthier collaborations in the theatre and beyond.
